Dahlia – Que Sera

The Que Sera dahlia is a masterpiece that unites colours and form. This representative of the anemone-flowered dahlias produces extraordinary flowers with bipinnate petals in the centre. White combined with dark pink gives a distinct yet subdued effect. Flowers that appear on top of tall slender stems make a great show both in the garden and in a vase. Large dahlia bushes prove to be the best choice for flower bed and lawn edges where they harmonize with eastern purple coneflower or phlox. You can adorn those unique flowers from July to October. Blooms of the Que Sera dahlia provide perfect material for creation of ornamental rustic bouquets.

Choose a situation sheltered from wind and sunny for cultivation of dahlias. Plants of the presented species develop well in a permeable, humous, light soil that is rich in nutrients. Regular feeding and watering of the plants would be recommended in case of less fertile soils. Fertilization with compost and manure is recommended and brings excellent results. Dahlia is a perennial that should be excavated before the winter. After removing soil rests, store them in boxes filled with peat or sawdust in a cool room.
