The PRECIOSO santoku is a knife that originates from Japan and is considered an viable alternative to the traditional chef’s knife. It is by its design a multifunctional tool. It looks like a combination of a kitchen cleaver and the already mentioned chef’s knife. Its versatility allows for perfect slicing, chopping, dicing and carving. It can be used for both low and high cutting. This knife model is exceptionally handy and does not cause hand fatigue even when chopping hard products. The characteristic ‘scalloped’ sides are meant to prevent the chopped food from sticking to the blade.
